Let’s Chat about Chatting (and texting, and messaging, and talking)!

There is no denying that modern technology has been a game-changer in how we interact with one another!

The infographic below piqued my curiosity.  I found that it was pretty accurate for me, but I wondered if the sentiment would be the same with others in different generations or different demographics.  Maybe the love for technology and the love of communication I inherited in my DNA (thanks, Dad and Mom!) changes the way I interact with people and technology.  Which brings me to my question:

  • What about you, can you relate to this infographic?  (If you’re 13 or 113, I’d love to know!)
  • Do you think the levels are in the right order?  If not, what would you rearrange?

    I would totally put IM before texting! I have google/facebook/instant chatted with tons of people that whose numbers i don’t even have!
